The solar water pump is completely powered by solar energy, with no batteries required. The solar water fountain can be attached to regular garden tubing, with a 3/8" slip outlet to match the tubing. If the pump becomes clogged with debris, it's advisable to clean it regularly by opening up and removing the front and back covers to clean the filter and two metal probe sensors.
